About the Photographer
Jim Petersen's digital images have been used by commercial and
non-profit groups on websites, album covers, and advertising. His
prints are hanging in businesses and private homes.
Petersen studied under Ansel Adams-trained photographers such as
Joe Englander
and Jon Stuart. As you can see
from the images in his gallery, his photographs portray the emotion
of the places, people, and things he saw.
Jim Petersen made his home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he was
inspired by the beauty of the Teton Mountains and surrounding National
Parks. Mr. Petersen passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2006
as the result of a brain tumor.
